Contact us by phoneInformation and purposes
When a workshop or professional contacts us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process their contact details and the necessary vehicle and module information: symptoms, technical data sheet, module reference and any fault codes. This information is used to respond to the enquiry, prepare an assessment and manage the service, including collection and return delivery of the module.
The legal basis is taking precontractual steps at your request or performing a contract where applicable. Legal obligations may require certain records to be retained.
Please do not send identity documents or personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Form and external services
The website form prepares an enquiry and opens WhatsApp. This website does not store the text in its own database or send it by email. When you continue, the content is included in a link and shared with the WhatsApp service; you then choose whether to send the message to Carbit.
Email links open your email application and location links open Google Maps. These providers process information under their own policies. WhatsApp may involve international data processing or transfers under its provider's terms.
Interactive Google Maps
The location map loads automatically. Your browser may defer loading until you approach that section. Loading the map connects your browser to Google, which may process technical data such as your IP address and browser identifiers, and use cookies under its privacy policy.
You can also use the “Get directions” link to open Google Maps in another tab.
Introduction video on Vimeo
The homepage video uses a Vimeo player that loads when you visit the page. Your browser connects to Vimeo, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. The player uses the Do Not Track parameter to disable session data collection and analytics; essential cookies may still be used for the player to function.
Cookies and technical information
This website does not include analytics, advertising or first-party cookies. Fonts and images are hosted on this site. The map is an external service that loads automatically.
The hosting service may process technical information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to deliver and secure the website. This processing is based on the legitimate interest of operating a functional, secure site.
Recipients and retention
Hosting, communications, courier and administrative service providers may process information where necessary to deliver the service. Authorities may receive it where legally required. Personal data is not sold.
Information is kept for as long as needed to address the enquiry or manage the service relationship, and subsequently for any applicable legal retention periods.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to our general email address. We may request the information needed to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you believe your rights have been infringed.
